“Welcome to London” is an international women’s club affiliated to “Welcome Clubs International” a worldwide network of women’s clubs all sharing the same aims and objectives: to promote and increase friendship among people of all nations by seeking greater understanding. We are a non-profit organisation run totally by volunteers.

Among the many international women’s clubs in London “Welcome to London” is unique as we specialise in arranging visits to Embassies and High Commissions in the city in order to learn more about a country’s culture, history, economy, traditions and its place in the modern world. Over the past two years we have heard stimulating and enlightening presentations by the diplomatic staff of the Embassies of Italy, Venezuela, Hungary, Poland and the High Commission of South Africa.

Our monthly programmes also include talks, lunches, visits to exhibitions, excursions, recitals, demonstrations and our very popular group trips to Europe. In the past few years our members have travelled to Verona, Salzburg, Paris, Budapest and Madrid. New members are always welcome and we hope we shall have the opportunity of welcoming you to our cosmopolitan and friendly “Welcome to London”.
